His annual Comedy Versus Cancer benefit has raised more than ten million dollars for blood cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, which is a great place. My dad passed through there a million years ago, and they those people are good people.
Fifteen years ago, Kroll’s sister in law, Na Cole, was diagnosed with non Hotchkin lymphoma During treatment, she met Jennifer, another patient. The two women became close. Jennifer’s husband happened to be vaguely connected to Tina Fey. So between all that performers were willing to help. Kroll curates the lineup himself.

A corner of Hurley’s Irish Pub Who comes host to one of Montreal’s most eclectic comedy festivals with stand up, trivia, music, CrowdWork, crafting, wrestling, surprise guests, new comics, comedy veterans.
It’s the fourth annual World’s Smallest Comedy Festival that launches August tenth with World’s Smallest All Stars, a showcase of some Montreal comedians. Then on August twelfth, it’s Wednesday Night Trivia. That’s what I like to do in the winter. It’s volleyball season. I missed the guys.
