Caloroga Shark Media. Hi there, Johnny Mac with your Daily Comedy News. We have heard from Tom Sagora about his divorce from Christina p. He did this on his podcast. I did clip this down a little bit.
The co host was Ryan Sickler, who kind of stepped on Tom when Tom was getting like serious and emotional, so I tried to take that part out. But let’s hear from Tom. So Goora, all right, we are back, and this is my first podcast here in a while. I know that a lot of people obviously heard the news and saw last week’s episode where Christina hosted it, and I don’t feel a need to like say a lot to people, but it bothered me that a lot of people were like, oh, I can’t believe you would make her go address this alone or like do this on her own, you know, which which couldn’t be further from the truth. The truth is that, like we have been recording separate episodes for a long time now, because everything that people know is is not new to us.
It’s you know, it’s been many many months, so this is not like brand new to us. It was many months and we record separately. So her episode was first after our return, so she addressed it first. It was never like, hey, you go handle this, you know, it was just kind of the timing of how that worked, and we both decided to record separately. That’s just what we’re doing.
It’s been horrible. It’s a horrible experience, so I just wanted to let people know it’s privately. It’s horrible. It’s a long experience. It’s emotionally a roller coaster.
Your emotions change often many times in a day. If anyone’s ever been through it or knows anyone, it’s like, it’s not you don’t feel the same all the time, and it’s really tough on you, like personally, it’s really tough going having it be public is it’s awful, you know. I can only tell you that it’s awful. Tom went on to say that the pair are non combative and they talk every day. Tom said, our focus, as you would imagine, it’s just on our children.
We’re just trying to provide the best life we can for them, and we’re trying to take care of them. I’m going to be focused on what I do and, like I said, taking care of the kids. Christina and I will continue to do that. We talk to each other. We’re fine with how things are moving along.
As disappointing as it is, it is what it is in that regard. David Letterman coming back for a seventh season of My Next Guest needs no introduction, now, Dave, I’m not sure about the premise of your show. Sure we all know who Matt Damon, Julia Robertson, Jimmy Kimmel are a pretty good guest list there, especially the Kimmel episode that should be all kinds of interesting. And the fourth guest of season seven of My Next Guest needs no introduction. I think alex Honold needs an introduction.
I was like who. I figured it was an influencer or someone I had to google. Alexander J. Honald is an American rock climber best known for his free solo assense of big wall climbing routes. So, if you’re throwing your phone across the room right now, going, how does Johnny McNatt know who that is?
Sorry, dude, Dave’s friend of me. The worst person who ever lived. Jay Leno is involved with Leno’s Law two point zero Send It Bill thirteen ninety two would extend smog exemptions to cars manufactured between nineteen seventy six, which is the current code off year, and nineteen eighty six. Jay Lenil said, for most people, this is a second, third, or even fourth car that was their grandfathers or their dads, and they’re trying to keep it exactly as it was. They’re not making the car more dangerous.
Under current law, cars over thirty five years old may also be exempt from specific portions of the smog test as long as they’re legally classified and ensured as collector motor vehicles. Under Leno’s Law two point zero, you would qualify if he did one of these the car was at least thirty five years old, insured as a collector motor vehicle, and driven less than a thousand miles a year, two a historic vehicle, or three a special interest vehicle. The law would also grant full smog exemptions to vehicles manufactured before nineteen eighty one that fit the definition of a collector motor vehicle. Jay said, there’s not even enough of these old cars around even make a difference, and as time goes on, more and more of these cars go off the road. You’re making criminals out of people wouldn’t do anything but just hold on another car a little too long and take care of it, which I think environmentally is actually better than buying a new car.
Jay Leno was also on the Awards Chatter podcast and said if he were still hosting that tonight show, he’d probably skipped Trump entirely. That’s interesting, Jay explained. The trouble is the fun thing about doing politics is he exaggerated, that’s the big laugh with Trump, alright, be sleeping with a stripper Stormy Daniels. Where do I go with that? I mean, what do you take?
That’s the reality of it. Jay also said when you don’t like someone starting to make fun of them, with George Bush, I could always go, you know, I don’t think President Bush quite understands, and people would smile, and you know they’re gonna give him a little jab. Times have changed now people are invested in this. It’s very tricky. People.
They go, it must be great. Don’t you wish you were doing it now? No, because I’m not a Trump fan. I don’t like him. I know if I’m gonna say stuff, it’s gonna be meaner than it is funny, you know.
Send your letters to Jay Leno. Joe Rogan on the Joe Rogan experience, which is a freeze, you might say, for the AIS to pick up. Joe Rogan waded in on the president switching planes. Did you see that story last week where the President apparently hid in a catering truck. Well, Joe Rogan weighed in on that, and I have made edits for both pacing and language.
So if they flew him out because they were worried they were gonna try to take down Air Force one, and they took the press, the press dies so sad. Oh my god, you just get more pressed. That’s wild. If that’s true, that is so wild that he didn’t even tell them, Hey guys, uh, we’re not really gonna get on this plane. No one’s getting on this plane.
You guys, get out of here, go take American Airlines home. No, He’s like, hop one, Yeah, it’s air Force one. Guys. My gift to you take air Force by enjoy it. There’s food up there, sandwiches on there.
Enjoy yourself. John Lovetz was on the Tonight Show, currently hosted by Jimmy Fallon. He was there to promote Don’t Say good Luck, which John Lovett is in, and of course stars famous Hollywood actress Sonny Sandler. The movie coincidentally produced by Adam Sandler. John Lovettz asked Adam Sandler why he’s always been cast as perverts?
He made the list and wedding singer was a sleez bag, little nicky. I’m a peeping tom grown ups too. I’m a janitor that takes over Jim class with women and then gets them to do all these you know, sexual exercises. And I said, Adam, while you always casting me as a pervert? Adam Sandler apparently said, yeah, I think it’s funny.
Lovet’s praised mister Sandler, saying he’s the best and he’s just nice to you the rest of your life. What if you bash his movies every time you mention him on your podcast? What is your relationship with Adam Sandler? Then? Just a question.

Because the question is so simple it makes people think, well, you’ve either got it or you haven’t. I should be good at this straight away. You should definitely read this book. Comedy is the best tool I know for looking critically out the world. Good comedy stretches the boundaries of what people can talk about. It pushes the edges of the norm and changes the conversation. It fosters free speech and free thinking, not just in the people doing it, but also in the people watching it.

Star trek run Or Patton Oswalt said, absolutely riveting chronicle of stand up’s history. This book has it all. A sad note.

She explained on social media, specifically to my spine right hip in my ribs. The cancer is incurable, too late for chemo. As of now, I’m trying to live out whatever it might be left of my life, been as fun as a way as I possibly can as some of you know, the pain can be really something else.
Standing and walking for too long of a time can be hard, and I need to use wheelchairs sometimes. She focused on the positive. She’s being comforted by her dog, Greasy. Greasy passed away in twenty twenty four. Lucy Davis said, I’m not scared of whatever comes next.

By the way, BBC Traders is much better than the American version like Night and Day. So for the second season of BBC Celebrity Traders, Rob Beckett will be on. You may know him from last one laughing he is a very funny person. Other comedians on this season Rare Meshwagon, Nathan Joe Last and Joanne McNally. That should be good comedian Charlie Barns is trying to fight the data centers.
There was an event at the or Doc Brewing Company. Charlie said, I’m basically like a big dumb billboard, like a clown saying come here and pointing to the experts. There really is just an off balance of information out there right now, and it’s just trying to even the playing field. It’s good that people are coming together on this, whatever side they’re even in on it, just to be in the same room together and connecting. That’s a huge thing that we started to lose to.
Had a little levity hopefully helps because people are understandably angry, frustrated, and just broken down by this. You’d like more information, check out the Northern Michigan Alliance for Responsible Development. North Jersey dot Com caught out with Ben Bankis. Ben said, you have to put out a lot of content. A joke about FIFA, for example, stay in his act for two weeks while soccer dominated the news, I got a few million views and now short shelf life. Ben said, if it’s something that’s happening right away, like the wildfires, that I did a joke about to post it. If not, I’m not going to keep that for a year and a half, then post it. He says, he doesn’t force the process. It’s funny or not.
