Here’s an update on the vandalized pool. As you can say, there’s still some green in there, but we’re getting better and now vandals have added leaves, so I don’t know what is going on that. Johnny macau is that the same shirt is yesterday’s video. It is my friend, because I’m doing pool work and got up in the morning and just started to clean the pool, and I don’t want to wreck another shirt. You make one Chlorian mistake.
Forget it all right, let’s chick in for poolside. What’s happening on Friday? A couple good listens check out for sure. Joe Riven had on Mark Norman, Shan Gillis and Or Shafir. That is a good listen.
We’ll talk about that in a second. And Stavros Halkias is on the Popcast and that is really good. The Daily Beast does not like Nypergatzy. They’re giving him a hard time. If you’re not hip to the joke.
They keep referring to him as Maga comedian Napergazzy because he would do UFC fight on the White House lawn. I mean, guys, stop giving him trouble. The Daily Beasts headline today Mega Friendly comedian Shane Gillis may have been willing to attend Trump’s UFC birthday cage fight at the White House, but he drew the line being photographed inside his VIP room unlike he forgets. Gilius told Rogan, let’s start bringing that up. They asked me to go in the VIP room and I said, no way.
I’ll play clips of that on my audio podcast on Tuesday, as I’ve recorded a little bit ahead summer weekend guys, but Robin’s definitely worth a listen. Uh Starvros on the podcast, and they’re doing a great job getting the clips out there and they are stirring it up. One of the clips is about other podcasters getting political. Stavros said, some of the other comedians have the dumbest opinions on earths. I’ll play that on Tuesday as well.
And he also has tooked about how a list comics just want to be seen as successful as possible. They want to play in arena for a rena sink. They want to be the kind of guy like they want to be on a private jet. That sucks. I want adversity because nobody gets funnier on a private jet.
The real danger for comedians isn’t getting older, it’s getting rich and losing touch. One more thing this is worth your listen. Seek out on Instagram Jonathan Kite. He does these impressions of Anthony Bourdain that are wild and Kite as Boordain just went to Pizza Hut, which is a lot of fun. Mike Burbigley has canceled a bunch of shows he’s been touring with John Mulaney.
Burbiggs went on social media and said, I wanted to let you know the dream project of mine came together this September, which is great, like really really great. I can’t wait to tell you more. I think you love it, but I can’t tell you yet. That said, I’m no longer to be able to perform some dates on the John Mullini Mister Whatever tour coming up in September. Netflix is adding SCTV Second City Television.
I think that’d be good. I haven’t seen that show in years and Netflix putting it under everyone’s nose. I think we’ll see an SETV resurgence. Good call there. Late Nighter revealed that Jimmy Fallon won the Late Night A Wards again.
This was a week when Fallon was new and Jimmy Kimmel’s show was showing repeats of Jimmy Kimmel Live hosted by guest hosts, so it’s not really a true comparison, but I continue with my opinion that Kimmel should have worked the summer and not taken the summer off, and he’s opening the door for fan to challenge him as the new king of Late Night. And on tomorrow’s audio podcast, a deep dive about Ralphie May, who was a friend of mine and a really great dude. Got to spend some time with Ralphie. He did me some favors when I was no lover at Sirius and didn’t forget his friends. And he was a friend and I miss him and I think of him a lot.
So tomorrow on Daily Comedy News audio podcast, a deep dive on Ralphie May. I’m going to go fall asleep in the sun. See if
