We’re at the lake today. I keep thinking about this Aperghazzy thing. The idea that he’s controversial, obviously is absurd. The guy works clean, he hosted the Emmys. There’s not a scandal about him except he went to a UFC fight at the White House.
And the Daily Beast, if you’re not him to this, here’s what’s going on. The Daily Beast for some reason started referring to him one hundred percent of the time as Maga comedian in Aperghazzi, which is hilarious, right, So I’ve been using that in the podcast, but now I’m seeing in print everywhere, specifically Parade Magazine, which again is hilarious. But Parade Magazine is pretty darn mainstream and like your grandmother probably reads it. So now they’re gonna be like, who’s this Nay Burghecy guy? Is he controversial?
And out of worrying if Nate’s gonna have to somehow do damage controllers, people are going to have to get this out there because this is becoming a thing. I find it quite quite hilarious. So let me read you the Parade piece because it is funny. Although Burghezzi’s become the highest grossing stand up comedian, making it a stounding seventy seven and a half million dollars in twenty twenty five. His career hasn’t come without controversy.
After photos surfaced of Burghatzy attending President Donald Trump’s UFC Freedom two fifty fight, the comedian became the subject of conversation between fans and celebrities alike. In a substack essay, comedian W. Camel Bell criticized bergainst he saying, don’t be in a photo with fascists again. Send your letters to w comeout Bell or Nateperghatzy, whatever side you’re on, leave me out of it. I’m just having fun with the non controversy controversy.
One fan wrote on threads, Nate Berghetzy was by far the most shocking a disappointing attendee for me. One of my favorite comedians had a genuinely decent guy. Dude should have known how bad it would look. Shane Gillis was at this thing. He seems fine, Rogan seems fine.
I don’t know. Someone else wrote, Napergazzy can support Trump, Nate Berghazzy can attend Trump’s White House UFC party, and Aperghazzy can pose for photos with political figures.
Speaking of Shane, I got to clean something up from yesterday.
Shane’s people apparently went to TMS. There are some people who accused Shane Gillis of drinking a dosakie. No no, no, no, no no no, he was drinking a bud Light. Yes, A source close to Shane tells TMZ the comedian was not committing a brand betrayal. Love the copywriting there, the source tells TMZ the dose EQI sitting at the cup holder next to him.
It belonged to the girl sitting next to Shane Gillis, who wasn’t in her sy. Just as somebody shot a video that happened to go viral with the Dosakis in it, which totally was not Shane’s, of course, because Shane one hundred percent of the time drinks bud Light as well. Know the folks, let TMZ know that. You can see in a different video that Matthew McConaughey is on Shane’s left and a blonde is on his rate. In the clip, his can is in a koozy and she’s empty handed, but you can see a bit of bud light blue peeking out from Shane’s coozy I love this.
This is so silly. TMZ has reached out to Shane Gillis’s rep at this time no word back. I will keep you updated on this. This is important. Ricky Gerveys is saying he will get married eventually.
He’s been with Jane Fallon for forty four years. Why would Ricky Gervas do such a thing to reduce his tax pill? I did a big interview with Saga magazine. I’ve got it scheduled in the audio podcast for Sunday, so we’ll cover this on Sunday at length, but real quick. Ricky Gervas said that taxes are a good reason to marry, and said, and that will be the reason I marry because if it wasn’t for that, why how more married can you be?
We share all our money. We’ve been together for forty years. Some marriages don’t last a year. He makes a good point, all right. If you’re catching these on the audio feed, I’m doing these short videos for YouTube just to try and promote the show a little bit more.
Nothing’s changing on the audio feed. On the other side, if you’re catching these on video, there’s an audio podcast that comes out at three oh five am every morning, and come back tomorrow at three oh five am Eastern. There’ll be an audio podcast to see you
